Meningococcal Vaccinations

Along with Flu vaccinations, our Your Health NZ healthcare professionals are also authorised to administer Meningococcal vaccinations.

The vaccine providing protection against Meningococcal strains A, C, W & Y is particularly important for adolescents and young adults aged 13-25 who will be or are currently living in a boarding school, hostels or university hall of residence, military barracks, or prison.

Since March 2023, the Meningococcal B vaccine has also be funded for people aged 13-25 entering into their first year of specified close-living situations.
